In Magdeburg we connected with a group of five women and four children from Hamburg who joined the tour.<\/p>\n<p>Our kick off action at the Alte Market in Magdeburg was succesful with women singing and shouting slogans on top of their voices because the microphone had some technical failure. Women made spotaneous short speeches and it was very interesting to see one of women who joined the Bus Tour with her children because she wants her children to experience a different atmosphere ask for a chance to say something, one of the things she said is, \u201ethe government should stop deportations especially to Afganstani\u201c. She said it felt good to speak her thoughts in public and later asked if it is possible to be participating in our events in the future.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The children were in good spirits as they enjoyed, playing, painting and writing on the pavement. One 11 year child decided to travel to Leipzig with us without the parents because she knew some of the supporters accompanying us.<\/p>\n<p>We had the chance of meeting refugee women and their supporters, some of whom we are already into contact with and others whom we met for the first time, most of them will join us tomorrow (24.07) in Leipzig for the workshop and the rally outside the Ausl\u00e4nderbeh\u00f6rder and after for a demo through the city.<\/p>\n<p>We reached Leipzig early evening, where we met with the Women* Breaking Borders bus of Refugee women and children from G\u00f6ttingen who will be on the tour for the whole two weeks! We were welcomed with a warm meal and later went to private homes where we will be accommodated for the next two nights.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the day, including the refugee women from Leipzig, we are more than 50 refugee women already on the tour.
